Plan Your Day
For some reason, the Saturday noon time slot is kind of loaded with interesting games, none of which you'll be able to watch of course because Michigan is playing. But keep an eye on the rest of the Big Ten games going on. All of them are compelling, and I kind of wish we had one or two of these games tonight.
I think Oklahoma will roll Nebraska, but it's still two blue bloods going head to head...plus it's the next stop on the Scott Frost farewell tour...which is always just good TV. Seriously, if USC can fire Clay Helton in week 2 of his 8th season for winning 65% of his games, then Nebraska can surely fire Scott Frost in week 3 of his 4th season for winning 40% of his games.
Cincinnati @ Indiana is compelling for no other reason that there's hope that Indiana might have some chaos left inside them? Jury is still out on that one, but this will be a good test for the Hoosiers to redeem that opening season loss to Iowa.
And of course Michigan State @ Miami. Man, I wish I could watch this for just the sheer entertainment value alone. This definitely should've been a Thursday night game. Man, what a missed opportunity! I think this at night would've been crazy fun to watch.
For the afternoon, the only game I think would be interesting to watch is Purdue @ Notre Dame. All of the sudden the Irish seem vulnerable, and the boilers are 2-0 looking to pony off of what Toledo did last week.
The game of the day is of course Auburn @ Penn State. It's rare when you have an SEC school travel up to Big Ten country...although I'm sure Penn State would rather be playing this game in November, it's still nice to see. This will be a white out, of course, so I give the edge to Penn State. Although I think that offense has some real issues, this will be a good test. I expect this one to be close and low scoring.
Don't Watch:
Don't watch Tulsa @ Ohio State. Seriously, just don't. Right now you have this wonderful vision in your mind of Oregon gashing that Buckeye defense for 7.1 yards per carry, and that's where it should be. You don't need to bother yourself with anything Ohio State will do to Tulsa. What even is a Golden Hurricane? And why would a school in Oklahoma be called the Hurricanes anyway? Seriously, don't walk...RUN away from this if it's on your TV on Saturday. Ohio State is going to do stuff that you won't want, or need to see.

This game never happened.
Upset Alert!
I think Michigan State is going to beat Miami, Minnesota will beat Colorado, and I think Purdue is going to beat Notre Dame. I don't know how they'll do this, but I think they will.
Go Big Ten!
