Jim Harbaugh is set to make his Big House debut this coming Saturday as the Wolverines battle the Oregon State Beavers.
Last week the Beavers defeated Weber State 26-7.
Freshman quarterback Seth Collins led the Beavers in passing last week, throwing for 92 yards, and two touchdowns. Collins also led the team in rushing against Weber State, accruing 152 yards. Collins will have his work cut out for him playing in front of an expected capacity crowd in Ann Arbor.
Despite some big yardage from Collins, he will most likely be snapped back into reality Saturday against a strong defense and help from the raucous Ann Arbor crowd.
The Beaver defense did not allow the Weber State offense to score a single touchdown, the only WSU score was a interception return for a touchdown.
Michigan should have no problem running the Beavers out of town Saturday as the day should be declared "State of Michigan vs. State of Oregon" day. Without a doubt the Wolverines should control this game right from the opening kickoff, some hiccups are still expected as we are early in the Harbaugh era, but the game should be in complete Wolverine control start to finish.
The Wolverines should win this game by a minimum of two touchdowns.
