Bowl orders and opponents are yet to be determined.

1. Ohio State
The Buckeyes are the first ever unanimous overall #1 team in the history of the AP poll...which, to get the media to all agree on anything...that's huge. Whether its Jones or Barrett under center, I probably doesn't matter. They're loaded top to bottom. The real question is how Ohio State will respond to a tough road environment in Blacksburg in week 1 with key starters suspended? Get through that and it's clear sailing until Penn State on October 17th.

2. Michigan State
No question, right now it's Ohio State, then Michigan State...and everyone else. Over the last few seasons both of these schools have proven to be the teams to beat. Can Dantonio maintain this momentum without some key contributors on defense (including former DC Pat Narduzzi)? The offense should be solid, especially behind a stout OL.

3. Wisconsin
Despite getting waxed in the Big Ten title game (but responding well to beat Auburn in the Outback Bowl) and losing their head coach, Wisconsin remains one of the better performers year over year in the league, making the Big Ten West's top spot theirs to lose.

4. Minnesota
Speaking of the wide open Big Ten West, Minnesota seems primed to make a strong case in 2015. With perennial powers Wisconsin and Nebraska adjusting to new coaching staffs, Minnesota returns one of the league's best in Jerry Kill, who just got a handsome raise last week. The Gophers have a tough schedule, including the opener against #2 TCU. But many of their biggest games, TCU included, are at home.

5. Penn State
Penn State is one of my wild cards. Their schedule is very friendly, as they don't leave Pennsylvania or play a ranked opponent until October 17th. If they can gel their offense in those first 6 weeks, they can make some serious noise from there on out. Hackenberg must improve from his Sophomore slump a year ago.

6. Nebraska
Nebraska is a total mystery. They're ranked 6th because they're Nebraska, but to be honest, I don't really know what to expect with the Huskers. With Pelini, 9-wins seasons were automatic, but with Mike Riley...you have the feeling its going to take some work to get back to that level.

7. Michigan
I'm totally ranking Michigan this low so I won't look so much like homer. The simple fact is Jim Harbaugh is a maniacal football genius who only knows how to turn assorted young men into wildly successful football teams. The road could be bumpy out of the gate, but I think we'll see the Wolverines climb up this list sooner rather than later.

8. Rutgers
Let's be honest, Rutgers is going to struggle in the east division. Along with Maryland, their only real hope for success is to sneak up on teams here and there and hope for the best. Getting to 7 or 8 wins is going to be difficult unless they really come storming out of the gate. As of this post, it is being reported that Kyle Flood is being investigated for rule violations...that's probably not going to help.

9. Iowa
Hey, thanks for Jake Rudock! But seriously, Iowa needs some help. Unless the west division has some serious parity, I don't see things going well here. In the past I'd say never count out Ferentz's teams...but this year there just doesn't seem to be any blood going to it.

If your team was not listed above, hang your head in shame. Hang it!
