Rankings are determined before each week's games.
|
The upper crust
Michigan State blew out Nebraska early only to let the Huskers creep back in late, but were able to hold them off to remain atop out weekly standings. Ohio State rolled in College Park while Wisconsin lost to all-of-the-sudden dangerous Northwestern who's rattled off two impressive B1G wins in a row.
The contenders
Speaking of the Wildcats, they're firmly in this group now. As are Maryland, Minnesota, Rutgers, Penn State and Iowa...who all seem to have at least a shot at completing a trip to Indy.
Everyone else
Illinois, Purdue, Indiana and Michigan…what can I say? Maybe things will improve? Maybe things will get better? Or, maybe not. For Michigan, they must win 4 of their last 6 to be at least bowl-eligible. Call me skeptical, but I don't see that happening at all.
