The 2014 season kicks off this weekend; which prospects will be making
the trip to Ann Arbor? Which current commit will miss his entire senior year
due to injury? Darian Roseboro is scheduled to announce his college choice tomorrow; Will it be Michigan? Find out in this Friday’s version of “The
Future Huddle.”
Darian Roseboro Will Announce His College Choice Today
2015 Defensive End Darian Roseboro will announce his college choice later this afternoon. The Lincolnton product will choose between; Michigan, N.C State, Clemson, Alabama, Tennessee and North Carolina. Roseboro, who has visited Michigan multiple times, has thoroughly enjoyed each of his visits, and Michigan looks to be in the best shape to land the four star prospect. I've thought for the past few months that Roseboro would end up choosing Michigan, and that feeling hasn't changed even though Mike Farrell from Rivals has a different feeling.
After talking to numerous sources I'm going with the #NCState #Wolfpack for Darian Roseboro over the #Wolverines. Could be wrong, we'll see

This Weekends Visitors
Michigan’s 2015 season kicks off
this weekend, and there’s no better time to get recruits on campus to see Ann Arbor first hand.
2016 CB Lavert Hill will be in
attendance when the Wolverines take on Appalachian State on Saturday. Hill, who
is the brother of current Wolverine Delano Hill, will make his fourth trip to
Ann Arbor in the past month. Currently ranked as a 4 star prospect and #12 CB
in the nation according to 24/7 sports, Hill has drawn high praise from his
high school coaches, stating that he could be the best defensive back to ever
come out of Cass Tech. The Wolverines look to be in the driver’s seat
in Hill’s recruitment holding a 24/7 crystal ball reading of 100% in favor of
the Wolverines.
2016 RB Matt Falcon will also
make the trip to Ann Arbor for Saturday’s game. Falcon, who missed all of last season with a
torn ACL, is currently ranked as a 3 star prospect and the 21st
overall running back for 2016. Last week, Mathew and his Southfield High squad
scrimmaged against Cass Tech and East English Village, with Matt apparently
looking very impressive. Falcon currently holds offers from; Ohio
State, Akron, N.C State, Toledo, Wake Forest, and Cincinnati. After this upcoming
season, I fully expect Falcon to hold a Michigan offer, and be ranked in the
Top 250 of every recruiting database.
The last scheduled visitor for
Saturday’s game is 2016 LB David Reese. Reese who took part in “The Big House
BBQ” last month told Scout’s Kyle Bogenschutz that “Michigan felt like home.” Any time a prospect without an offer says that
a school feels like home, it has to boast well for their chances at landing the
prospect. Reese, who is currently ranked as the #14 ILB according to 24/7, holds an offer list including mostly MAC schools. If Michigan was to offer, I
think it would be too much for Reese to pass up and would most likely commit on
the spot.
Garrett Taylor Tears
His ACL
2015
commit Garrett Taylor tore his ACL earlier this week.
Michigan DB commit Garrett Taylor @gtaychillin

Obviously
this isn't good news for Garrett, as he will miss his entire senior season of
high school football. Although an ACL
tear is a serious injury, Taylor is expected to make a full recovery telling
24/7’s Steve Lorenz;
"We can start aggressively rehabbing a week or so after the
surgery," he said. "I'll be doing that a ton. I'm getting ready to
meet with my speed training coach as well. I plan to get on a stricter diet
than normal so I can stay in peak shape while recovering. We're going to do
some pool stuff and a lot of upper body weight training and conditioning during
the period as well. My goal is to come back stronger than I was before the
injury."
Garrett is
currently ranked as the #48 overall prospect according to Rivals.
Mook Reynolds
Schedules an Official Visit
2015 CB Mook Reynolds told Scout’s Michael Clark that he
will be visiting Ann Arbor for an official visit on October 11th,
when Michigan hosts Penn State. Reynolds, who is currently committed to Virginia Tech, told Clark;
”I want to have my officials visits done by the
time football season ends. I’m planning to enroll early, so that kind of speeds
thing up.”
”It’s going to take a lot for me to commit to
another school,” Reynolds said. “I can’t really put my finger on what it would
take for me to switch, but it would take a lot.”
With such a short time-frame, Michigan’s chances at flipping
Mook look to be very slim. I would suspect that Mook will end up playing his
collegiate career in Blacksburg.
Reynolds is currently ranked as the #247 overall prospect,
and #29 Cornerback according to Rivals.
