Michigan has landed it's quarterback for 2016. After being offered a scholarship on Wednesday morning, Messiah took to twitter to announce he will be attending the University of Michigan for 2016.

Messiah doesn't have the strongest arm
I've ever watched on film but, he can get the ball into the receiver’s hands
with relative ease. He can lineup under center or, in the shot-gun formation.
Has adequate footwork and steps up into the pocket to throw the ball. He keeps
his eyes down field locked on his receivers, looking for an opening. Possesses
great pocket awareness. Messiah can feel pressure coming from all angles and
knows when to properly get rid of the ball. Has idle size for a pro-style
quarterback; being a shade over 200 pounds, he will have to add minimal weight
once college arrives. Throws a good spiral. He will
however, need to work a bit on his mechanics. Messiah has a tendency to drop
his elbow leading to less accurate passes. With QB guru Doug Nussmeier, I
expect this flaw to be worked out of his game, before he even see’s a snap at
the college level. Can throw the ball with decent accuracy while
scrambling. I would like to see deWeaver use his legs a bit more and, run for a
few more first downs. Has plenty of experience at the high school level being a
varsity starter since his freshman year. Should have the mental aspect of the
game down pat as he has reached the Ohio state finals three years in a
row. Huge potential for growth. I fully expect Messiah to shoot
up the rankings on most recruiting databases once his senior season
starts.
Messiah threw for the coaching staff
Wednesday morning and, Coach Nussmeier decided it was time to
offer. Four short hours later, Michigan landed it's future quarterback. This isn't the first recruit Hoke has plucked out of Trotwood. Current Wolverines Mike McCray and Reon Dawson are also from Trotwood. Last year, Messiah told ESPN's Jared Shanker that Michigan would be in a group of "dream offers." Well, Messiah wasted no time and committed to his "dream school."

Messiah threw for 2,300 yards with 21 touchdowns in 2013. He also added 6 rushing touchdowns.
While speaking with 24/7’s Steve Lorenz, Messiah had this to say about why he wanted to commit to Michigan.
"I wasn't immediately sure I was going to commit, but my dad was at camp with me and we talked about it," he said. "It didn't take really long for me to realize that Michigan was the place I wanted to be. They have been recruiting me for a long time, and I have always loved it up there. It was an easy choice for me to make."
