Michigan hands out a few new offers, who
are they? Chris Clarke visited Michigan on Friday, how did his visit go? Which
current Michigan QB target committed over the weekend? Find out in this
Tuesdays version of The Future Huddle.
2015 WR Miles Boykin finally received
his offer on Monday. Boykin’s is a big bodied strong receiver who could end up
playing tight end in college. Michigan’s coaching staff recently compared Miles
to current Wolverine Devin Funchess. Boykin’s was on hand for the spring game a few weeks ago, and came away impressed. Boykin’s holds over 15 scholarships from across the country. With Michigan having no wide receivers yet committed in the 2015 cycle, having at least one is a major priority. Boykin's will visit Ole Miss today, and will head to East Lansing on Thursday for a visit

2015 QB Deondre Francois was also offered
a scholarship on Monday after throwing in front of the Michigan coaching staff. Francois possesses a very
strong arm, but needs work on his accuracy; he had a 48.8% completion rate in his junior season. Watching his
highlight film, Francois can extend a lot of plays with his legs and has no
problem putting his head down and absorbing hits. Francois transferred high schools last month from Orlando Olympia High to IMG Academy. Getting a kid from the south
to choose Michigan is no easy task, but Deondre seems high on Michigan, and I
like his chances of getting on campus within the next few months to check things
out for himself. Deondre plans to commit in July.

see Auden Tate on Monday. Tate broke the news via twitter than Michigan had

Tate also tweeted out after
that he had “been waiting on this day for a long time.” With South Carolina his
presumed leader at this point, this can only boast well for Michigan. Tate
clearly has big time interest in Michigan and getting him on campus soon should
be a priority for the Michigan coaching staff. Highlight tape is below.
As mentioned in last week’s edition of The Future
Huddle, Chris Clark visited Michigan last weekend. Clarks visit went extremely
well. Chris is currently ranked as the #5 TE and #117 overall according to
24/7s composite rankings. While talking to Steve Lorenz, Clark had this to say
about his weekend visit:
"I had a really
great time at Michigan," Clark said. "I came in last night, grabbed
something to eat, and then hung out with a lot of the players. I spent a lot of
time with Shane Morris, Jake Butt and
some of the freshmen like Mason Cole. I had a lot of fun with those guys and you can tell they really like being at Michigan."
Clark who was committed then de committed to North
Carolina just a few short weeks ago also took in Ohio State after his visit. My
gut feeling on Clark is that his recruitment will end up being a Michigan-Ohio
State battle down to the last minute with Michigan coming out on top.
2015 QB target Brian Lewerke committed
to Michigan State earlier this week. Lewerke was scheduled to throw in front of the Michigan
coaching staff in the coming weeks but, I doubt that happens any more. Lewerke was in attendance for Michigan’s
spring game last month.
I'm
extremely excited to announce that I have committed to play college football at
Michigan State University!🏈💚

Other Notes:
5 Star Offensive Tackle Chuma Edoga
committed to USC last night. Edoga spent four days on Michigan’s campus last
summer and really enjoyed his time there. Not sure why an offer wasn’t extended his way
when Michigan has a clear need on the offensive line.
2015 QB target Torrance Gibson tweeted this photo out on
Sunday night.
