Biggest Game
Iowa is going to be sitting in a pretty good spot going into their final two games against Michigan on the road and Nebraska at home the Friday after Thanksgiving. Should they take both of those games, they could punch their ticket to Indy the following weekend. Right now I'd say the Michigan game on the road is the biggest game of the year for the Hawkeyes.
Non-Conference Loss
Last year's loss to Iowa State, in 3 overtimes btw, was a blow for that Iowa team. The Cyclones always seem to give Iowa fits, so that game feels like a natural pick. I like the Northern Illinois game being played in Chicago in week 1, that could throw an element of complexity into that game for Iowa.
It's a Trap!
I think the trip to Bloomington on November 3rd could be a trap game for Iowa. I suspect it won't just because it's Indiana, but looking at the schedule, that game jumps out at me.

Northern Iowa on September 15th.
Final Analysis
I think this is a very average Iowa team this season. With the transfer of RB Marcus Coker, among others, and the loss both of Ferentz's long-time coordinators...there are quite a few question marks going into fall camp. The schedule does Iowa a few favors with a rather light non-conf slate and not having to play Ohio State or Wisconsin in the crossover games. I predict a better than average season, but key division losses will keep Iowa from serious Big Ten title game contention.
Fearless Predictions
Non-conference record: 4-0
Division Record: 2-3
Crossover Record: 3-0
Overall: 9-3
Bowl: Mineke Car Care Bowl
