Week 4 was a bit of a letdown for those in the Shoelace camp. Denard only saw about 7 minutes of actual game time. But in those 7 minutes, he put up some pretty impressive numbers. All of those in the Maize & Blue Nation held their breath, myself included, when Denard went down late in the 1st quarter. From what we're hearing, it's just a bruise on his left leg. But after watching him move around on the sideline and hearing his prognosis after the game, it seems as if he will be close to, if not 100% this weekend against Indiana.
Pryor had his best game of the year, by far, against one of the worst teams in Division 1 football, Eastern Michigan...who hasn't won a game since the Bush administration. For his efforts, Pryor earned the Big Ten offensive player of the week honors.
